About us

Human Welfare Committee was founded in 2017 as a day care center to help poor working mothers. Within these 7 years, we have progressed to run a children home and women empowerment projects. Our mission is to empower marginalized communities through focusing on women empowerment and children development.

Human welfare committee is officially registered under the society act with the district administration office Kathmandu (registration no. 188669/074/075) and is affiliated with social welfare society (affiliated No.48732.).

Children development

The Human Welfare Committee runs its own children's home in Kathmandu. We provides a safe and caring family environment for orphans or children whose parent are not able to take care.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Human Welfare Committee runs Women Empowerment program. To empower women who are affected by poverty, the Human Welfare Committee offers skill trainings, offer part-time job opportunities and organize awareness classes.
